As part of my residency at the Paper Mill gallery in November 2011 I hosted a letter drawing workshop. Twenty-six enthusiastic attendees took part in a series of short, creative exercises followed by some time to focus on creating one letter of the alphabet to form the group's collective set. Choice of medium was open and there was a variety of beautiful letterforms created in illustration, paper craft, watercolour and even pencil shavings. Thanks to all the legends who came along! Here is a video and some letters created during the workshop. The music on the video is the rad sounds of Australian band Jinja Safari.
